How to Play

  "The Chain" is a word game where you must successfully fill out a list of words where each successive word has something in common with the last — but not necessarily with any other word in the chain.

  You receive the first and last word in the chain. Your job is to fill in the seven words in between — you can work from either direction to figure it out.

  Once you've placed all your chain words, hit the Check button to see how you did.
• 4
  Each correct word is highlighted in green and its connection to the next word is revealed.
• 5
  Each incorrect word is highlighted in red — no explanation is shown until it's placed correctly.
• ⚡
  Every incorrect check earns you a strike. You have 3 strikes — use them wisely. After 3, the game ends and the full chain is revealed.
